We flew to Amsterdam, Netherlands in August 1978 to buy a motorcycle for a year long trip through Europe. Because of the high prices, we went to England to buy the motorcycle. We toured southern England to break it in and then crossed the English channel and drove south east to Greece, then west to Marracech, Morocco for the winter. Next spring we went north to Bordeaux and then east to Corfu, Greece, then north to Berlin and west to France before taking the motorcycle back to England and selling it. Total trip was about 18,000 miles. We visited 99 cities.
